Platform Tennis Spring Events for 2012

Hello Platform Players,
The Glen Ellyn Platform Tennis Club (GEPTC) will be hosting a variety of year end events on April 27 and 28 (29th rain day). Balls and door prizes sponsored by WILSON.

April 27th :  Friday evening starting at 7 PM: Mixed Adult play (all levels welcome). This is BYOB and please bring a small app to share.

No preregistration need just show up and we will get you playing.

April 28th  morning 10:00-12:30: Two levels of youth play based on age. No preregistration need just show up and we will get you playing.

April 28th : Saturday starting at 1:00 PM: Men's Blind draw with point handicapping tournament (all levels welcome as matches will be handicapped for quality competition).

Please register for the event by contacting Larry Page at pagey523@aol.com by Wednesday April 25th and paying the $20 per player fee. Food and balls provided. Please bring your own refreshments.

 Only the first 40 players are guaranteed to play! (MEN'S Event only) If we have additional entries to the event we will try to accommodate.

 We will divide our teams into 4 groups and play a round robin within the groups. 3 matches in a 16 team draw, 4 in a 20, etc...the winners from each group advance to a single elimination semifinal to followed by the championship final. The full tournament to be completed on Saturday the 28th..

Series 4 and 17 take first place!

Congratulations to Glen Ellyn Series 4 and to Series 17 for winning first place on the "CPTC" last night! Series 17 team shown above.

Play-offs Update

Congrats to all teams making the play offs this year.

Here is the updated Play off results:

Series 17 wins and will advance to the finals. (Location to follow)
Series 4 wins on Games to beat a 7 to 7 tie against Hinsdale Park District
