Glen Ellyn Womens platform tennis team debuts this week. First team ever!

Congratulations to the Glen Ellyn Women's Travel Platform Tennis team. 

This year marks the first year Glen Ellyn has participated in the North Shore Womens travel league. Nice job Ladies!   Shown below at Sunset Ridge.

Glen Ellyn Park District Hires new Platform Tennis professional Laura Berent

The Glen Ellyn Park District is proud to announce the hiring of Laura Berendt as the new Platform Tennis Professional. Laura comes to the Park District highly skilled in the sport of Platform Tennis as well as tennis. Runner up at the Platform Tennis Nationals in 2008, she ended the season sharing the number 2 ranking in the country.

Laura will oversee the Glen Ellyn Park District’s platform tennis program including assisting with the Men’s Monday Night League, the Men’s Travel team program as well as developing the women’s and juniors programs. Laura will instruct all clinics and drills and will be available for private and group lessons.

Glen Ellyn Platform Tennis Tournament (September 27th)

Platform Tennis Members,

In addition to our Platform event on September 12th, we will also be hosting a Platform Tennis Tournament on September 27th & September 28th (If Necessary) so that everyone, of all levels (There will be a Flight A & B), can warm up their games before the official paddle season begins! Please see the attached flyer in regards to additional details as well as information on how to enter the tournament.
